
BURY GOALBALL CLUBAims
- Promote an active lifestyle through exercise and involvement in the sport
- Increase players' skills and knowledge of the sport
- Help club members to develop a positive self-image and self esteeme by providing an opportunity to take part and be successful in a sport.
- Provide an opportunity to develop team skills.
- Provide an opportunity for players to mix socially with others with the same disability.
- Encourage all players to express their views on club issues and play a part in running the club.
Activities
Goalball training approximately once a month at the Shuttle Centre in Whitefield Wednesday 3.30 - 5:00 pm.
Team take part in tournaments approx 3 times a year
Short introductory sessions can be arranged for anyone interested- at an agreed time and venue.
